The Italian M1014, also known as the Benelli M4, was designed in 1998 by Benelli Arms SPA. The creation of this weapon was requested by the United States Army to replace the shotguns they had in service at that time. The M1014 entered into active service a few months after its creation. It saw service in Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Syrian Civil War.
The M1014 has a unique appearance. The entire weapon is a consistant black color. It has a handguard on the bottom barrel. The sights of the weapon are also unique, with a three pronged style. The M1014 also has a skeletal stock. Also, the M1014 has a cocking handle on the right side.
The M1014 is very accurate for its type of weapon. It has a high magazine capacity, and the highest damage output on the game along with other 12 gauge weapons. It is most effective at ranges of 5 to 30 studs, accurate at up to 50 studs, but usually doesn't hit anything beyond the specified range.
The M1014 is a great weapon choice for all players, bandits and regular players alike. The damage output for the weapon is high, so it can take between 3-4 shots to kill someone at point blank range. A downside to this weapon is its low magazine capacity, making it a bad choice for killing zombies, but this can be made up for by using your secondary weapon instead.
- The M1014 is arguably the best close quarters weapon in the game.
