The Floodlight is a type of deployable light source that can be turned on and off. Once deployed they can be moved and rotated with the entrencher.

Floodlights are broad-beamed, high-intensity lights. They are often used to illuminate outdoor playing fields during an outdoor sporting event. More focused kinds of floodlights are often used as a stage lighting instrument in live performances such as concerts and plays.
Appearance[]
The floodlight has a small square stand on which it rests. Its body is grey and the portion of the light is yellow.
Usage[]
To use a floodlight you must select it from your inventory then click "Deploy". It will appear at your location and interacting with it will switch it on or off. It produces roughly the same amount of light as a Military Flashlight If you find a floodlight that has already been deployed you can only move it if you have an entrencher. The floodlight is essential for longer term bases since it does not stop illuminating unlike firewood and road flares. It is also not tinted any color.

- A large amount of floodlights you find laying in the world may be deployed by other users without a purpose.
