AK-47 in real life
The AK47 or Avtomát Kaláshnikova is a assault rifle designed by Mikhali Klashnikov from 1945-1946. In 1948 the AKS-47 variant entered service with the Soviet Army followed by the standard AK-47 in 1949. The gun is also used by various members of the Warsaw Pact.
Performance in the battle-field
The AK-47 (and all the AKs that use the same calibers) has one of the highest magazine capacities of all military rifles, with only 30, 40, and 75 rounds. It's ROF is high among the 7.62x39mm weapons, along with the OTs-14, making it a good choice for close quarters combat. Its hip fire accuracy is good enough for close-medium ranged hip fire.
Recommended Use
The AK-47 should be used in close-medium ranged situations. Its damage over time makes it a good choice for close quarters combat, and its hip fire accuracy, although not necessarily good, is the third best of any AK. The AK can also be used as in CS:GO or any other fps game: Long, Automatic bursts of fire, spray and pray. Just for the fun of it.
Its common ammo and high capacity makes it a good choice for zombie-killing.
